Play Ball
Jordan is starting t-ball this year and I'm starting coaching. He got jersey #1, just like I had when I played. How cool is that.

Tornado
Holy schnikes! We just had a tornado tear through here. Flipped the swing set and ripped the roof off of the dog house...before throwing it fifty yards. Lines down, poles crooked, trees snapped, and things weren't much better down the hill either with all that plus barn damage. Well, time to start cleaning up.

Garden
We decided to do garden boxes this year. Of course I had to ocd it up with weed block underneath and mulch in between them, but it looks really slick. I also tore down the wishing well stone and rebuilt it into an herb garden. We'll see how it all works out. [Update: It all works great, we don't know why we didn't do this sooner.]

Terrible Two's
We got Jesse a power wheels 4-wheeler for his birthday. He couldn't wait to get it outside so he could ride with his brother. Awesome.

Super Bowl XLV
Dang, that was a good one even though we lost. Oh well, at least I got to make Primanti Brothers sandwiches. Yum.

Starry, Noisy, Night
The elementary school had their xmas play today. It was pretty good. Rain said Jordan wasn't quite ready for walking out on stage in front of all those people in the morning show, lol. I made it to the afternoon one and he did great!

Open House
Open house at the elementary school tonight. Got to see Jordan's classroom, the library, computer lab, and caf-a-gym-a-torium. I nostalgia'd hard, that place hasn't changed a bit since I was in kindergarten. Well, it has gotten a bit smaller...

Roba's Family Farm
Took the boys to Roba's this weekend for some fall festivities: pig racing, hay bale mountain, animal feeding, corn maze, and of course, pumpkins. Had a good time with the Kaufmann's as well.
