July 4th Party

Another successful year, all fingers and eyes accounted for. Everyone had a good time, can't beat that!

This kid goes to eleven

Happy Birthday, Jordan. You're turning into quite the young man and we couldn't be prouder of you.

Track and Field Day

Jesse took 1st in all 3 of his events today; 50M, hurdles, and rocket throw. His rocket more than doubled the second place mark and went so far the crowd collectively went "Whoa!". Awesome job, Buddy, keep it up!

Philladelphia Field Trip

Chaperoned Jordan's group on the Philadelphia field trip today, that was pretty cool. The kids seemed to like the Franklin Institute the most as the tour was too much like learning or something. Think I'd like to go back without a schedule or guide and get a copy of the Declaration, some lemons, oh, and the glasses, can't forget the glasses.

Karate Kids

Just got home from the tournament in Wilkes-Barre. Jesse was a solid 4th in sparring; it sucks to have to fight the Sensei's daughter for 3rd but that's how it goes, bud. Jordan took 3rd in sparring and 1st in breaking. Several other kids placed as well making it a good day for The Edge Martial Arts.

Chorus Concert

Pretty impressed with the musical abilities of 5th graders and Napoleon Dynamite. Loved the accidental(?) dig about the budget, haha.

Play Ball

Jesse started ball practice tonight. Let's do it.

Karate Kids

Tournament in Bellefonte today. Jordan took 2nd in sparring and 2nd breaking. Jess was close to placing but no luck yet. Overall, a good experience for the kids.
